Pray for Ukraine!

March 30, 2022

Hello there!

As of April 19th, our Steiger Partners in Ukraine are working on getting their community living three cities up ad going again.

Those in Ukraine have said that they feel wave 2 of the Russian attack has begun. Pray for safety and the end of this war.

Our Steiger mission partners have a relief task force of 70 people across Ukraine. Khmelnitsky is the center of operations within the country. So far, they have received about 50 tons of humanitarian aid all together and distributed about 40. They have evacuated 3,018 people from war zones and bomb shelters and connected about 10,000 people with shelter. They are focusing their efforts mainly on western Ukraine.
Recently, the team brought medical supplies to a hospital, along with a couple of boxes full of copies of the Gospel of Mark. The people who received the supplies were so overwhelmed and grateful to receive the Gospels that they started crying. They said that was exactly what they needed and what their souls were asking for!

These are their prayer requests:

Pray for SAFETY and supernatural protection.
The situation changes constantly, so the team is continually creating new strategies to respond. Pray for WISDOM to meet the next challenge.
Pray for the team as they have a big weekend ahead traveling and distributing supplies. Pray for safe travel to and from destinations and safety in delivering the supplies. Pray for wisdom and discernment for them over the weekend.
Pray that God gives the team many opportunities to answer the deep spiritual hunger of the people they are serving!

Ephesians 6:18 says,  “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Let’s keep lifting our family up to God.
